QO₂ Labs is designed to be local-first and privacy-preserving. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, behavioural analytics pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies of any kind.

What we store on your device

We use the following browser storage strictly to operate the app:

• Essential storage (localStorage): your encrypted vault, your preferences (theme, language, sound), consent record, and your sign-in session if you choose to enable cloud sync. Required for the app to function.
• Service worker cache: static assets are cached so the app loads quickly and works offline. No personal data is cached.
• Session cookies (only if you sign in): a single authentication cookie set by our backend provider so you stay signed in across visits. No tracking, no profiling.

What we do not use

• No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other behavioural-analytics tools.
• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No third-party social-media trackers embedded on our pages.
• No fingerprinting or device-identification techniques.

Your choices

You may use the app without accepting non-essential storage — essential storage is the minimum required to load the app and protect your data. You can clear all local QO₂ data from this device at any time via Account → Your data, or by clearing site data in your browser settings.
