Terms of Use

1. Wellness scope

QO₂ Labs ("QO₂ Labs", "we") provides a private, local-first wellness and self-reflection environment. It is not a medical device and provides no diagnosis, treatment, cure, or clinical recommendation. Nothing in the app — breathwork, audio sessions, coherence scores, coach guidance, journaling prompts, or PDF library content — is medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

2. No emergency use

Do not use QO₂ Labs in an emergency or mental-health crisis. Contact local emergency services or a trusted crisis line immediately.

3. Local-first storage

Your journal, reflections, and personal entries are encrypted on your device with a key derived from your passcode. Only opaque ciphertext is ever uploaded. You are responsible for remembering your passcode — we cannot recover encrypted data.

4. Referrals

Invites grant a one-time trial credit to a friend. Referrals are one-level only — no chained payouts, no contact list uploads.

5. Billing

Payments are processed by our merchant of record. No card data is stored by QO₂ Labs. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your billing portal.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, abuse, or misuse the service, attempt to extract another user's vault, or use QO₂ Labs to provide regulated services to third parties without authorisation.

7. Liability

QO₂ Labs is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be surfaced inside the app and reset your consent acknowledgement.
